BANGLADESH - Dhaka Power Distribution Company (DPDC)
   The Dhaka Power Distribution Company Limited (DPDC) has received funds from a European Union grant managed by Agence Française de Développement ("AFD") toward the cost of the Construction and Augmentation of Substation, Installation of Capacitor Bank and Introduction of Smart Grid in Power System under DPDC Area (CSCSG Project) and it intends to apply part of the funds to payments under the Contract for “Design, Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning Work of Smart Grid System in DPDC Area on Pilot Basis”. The project aims to improve electric supply reliability, electric power supply and demand balance.
This Contract consists of the following main components:
• Supply of Machinery and Equipment for the work mentioned above.
• Installation, Testing & Commissioning of the supplied Machinery and Equipment and related civil works.
Please refer to the Section VII – Scope of Works of the Prequalification documents for further details about the Contract and the CSCSG Project.
