ANGOLA - MINISTRY OF ENERGY AND WATER (MINEA)
   The candidate for this position must be a qualified engineer, specialized in hydraulics and/or urban water infrastructures and should demonstrate sound experience in the field of water infrastructures design engineering. They should possess oral and written communication skills and have worked on similar projects. Specifically, they should have the following minimum qualifications:
• Graduate in Civil, Hydraulic, or Environmental engineering. (MSc = Academic Degree of 5 years in total). (Related fields would be accepted upon proven specific professional experience on the field of consulting design engineering of urban water infrastructures)
• Postgraduate and/or Specialization in Sanitary engineering or Water Resources is an advantage.
• At least ten (10) years’ post qualification working experience in the field of engineering design / consulting activities related to water infrastructures.
• At least 7 years’ working experience in design of urban water infrastructures – Bulk Water Supply Systems and Water Distribution Networks.
• Work experience with internationally financed projects, knowledge of FIDIC conditions of Contracts is required.
• Work experience with Public Procurement, preparation of Bidding Documents, Proposals Evaluation, etc. is required.
• Shall have strong computer skills, including software related to engineering design, EPANET, CAD, SIG, MS Project, and Office Package.
• Ability to work with environmental and social teams as well as a multi-faceted team will be an advantage
• Shall be fluent in English and have working knowledge of Portuguese.
